Using patented virtualisation technology, Marathon everRun HA software synchronises two standard Windows servers to create a single Windows application environment. Hardware failures are automatically detected and managed by everRun, making failures completely transparent to the application.
everRun HA delivers component-level fault tolerant server software that protects essential applications like Microsoft Exchange, SQL or SharePoint. Component-level fault tolerance means that if any I/O component such as a network adapter, storage adaptor or storage devices fails, everRun HA automatically redirects I/O away from the failed component to components in the other server. If an entire server fails, everRun HA will automatically and immediately restart on the secondary server. everRun HA is also scalable to multi-processor systems.
In short, everRun HA keeps applications running - and users connected - through both network and disk I/O failures.
