HTBasic
Published By:
TransEra HTBasic is a BASIC interpreter for the Rocky Mountain BASIC (RMB) Language. RMB is a powerful scientific and engineering language that combines the ease-of-use of BASIC, the math capabilities of FORTRAN and the structured-programming of Pascal and C. RMB was originally developed by Hewlett-Packard for the 9000 Series 200/300 scientific and engineering workstations.
HTBasic provides the RMB integrated program development environment including a syntax-sensitive, full screen editor and an interactive execution and debugging environment. It allows programs developed in the RMB language, to run on Personal Computers running Windows or MS-DOS, HP 9000 Series 700 Workstations and Sun SPARCstations.
When HTBasic is combined with IEEE-488 (HPIB/GPIB) or data acquisition plug-in cards, it turns your PC or Workstation into a full-featured instrument controller with powerful data analysis and presentation capabilities.
HTBasic's transfer utilities port current HP BASIC data and program files between HP Series 200/300 workstations and PCs, HP Series 700 Workstation or Sun SPARCstations. Once transferred, programs can be run with little or no change, thus avoiding time consuming and costly program rewrites.
