TechSmith Smart Player

The new TechSmith Smart Player enables your viewers to watch screen recordings anytime, on nearly any device. It supports both Flash playback and HTML5 playback, plus supports interactive elements in your videos including hotspots and quizzes.

Quizzes

Easily add quizzes to your videos, and, with the help of TechSmith Smart Player, enable quizzes to be taken on iPads, Android tablets and most Android smart phones. Quiz results get automatically sent to your email address, inform you of how much of the video was watched and do the marking for you.

New multi-track timeline

More quickly create videos with multiple tracks for video and audio. Stack different media elements on top of each other and group content together for cool effects that you can save and reuse.

Asset library

Features new music tracks, callouts, buttons, banners and motion backgrounds for your video. Add them to your videos with drag-and-drop ease.

Animation

Create animated content that helps guide viewers through videos. Easily add an animation to callouts, images, videos and more.

• Camtasia Studio Add-in for PowerPoint requires PowerPoint 2007 or 2010 (32 bit)
• Import of .mov and production to .mov and .m4v requires Apple QuickTime 7.2 or later
• Camera video recording requires a USB Web Camera. Recording live from a DV camera is not supported
• Integration with Camtasia Relay requires Camtasia Relay Client Recorder
• GPU acceleration requires DirectX 9 compatible video adapter with 128 MB of video memory or greater and Pixel Shader 2.0 or later.
