Improved modelling

• Whiteboard rendering - The all new Whiteboard technology provides a selection of custom shapes, call-outs, arrows and lines that can create free-form drawings
• Package browser - streamlines the process of creating and updating elements in a package that have been selected in the Project Browser
• New properties dialog - The layout of the Properties dialog has been significantly improved, making it easier to locate and edit element properties
• Visual change of z-order - view and change the z-order of each element via a convenient Modify Z-Order dialog

• BPMN 2.0 - Describe your business processes and workflows using the latest BPMN 2.0 standard that includes support for new event and diagram types, symbols for different types of tasks and extended options for the modeling of data in processes
• SOMF 2.1 - SOMF 2.1 provides tactical and strategic solutions to enterprise problems and also includes a new commercial Cloud Computing Modeling Notation (CCMN) for software development projects
• SysML 1.2 - Specify, design and analyse complex models for controlling and operating embedded systems and complex devices, using the latest SysML 1.2 diagram types

New analysis and testing tools

• Visual Execution Analyzer - A streamlined analyser menu makes it even easier to build and run tests, record program execution, debug code and understand system behavior.
• Test Points - Define your Test Points using Programming by Contract principles. Define them in the model rather than in the code. The Testpoints facility allows you to test systems to pass or fail application tasks in real time as the program executes and will display the constraints for a selected object
• Model Simulation - The Model Simulator enables you to simulate the execution of behavioral models. Validate the syntactical correctness of your behavior models and visualise each step in the corresponding diagram.

Corporate Edition

Includes all the features of the Desktop and Professional versions, with the added ability to use a variety of DBMS's for shared model repositories. Also includes role-based security, auditing and baseline merge tools for managing concurrent users. This edition is for larger teams that require fine-grained control in shared modeling environments.

Business & Software Engineering Edition

Purchasing a license for Enteprise Architect makes you a registered user for 12 months, which entitles you to:

• Download and activate the current, full version of EA.
• Access free updates and new builds for a period of 12 months.
• Access Sparx Systems' email support services for 12 months.
• Access the registered users area and any associated resources for 12 months.

Renewal of Annual Maintenance/Subscription

If you purchase an Enterprise Architect license, at the end of the 12 months you have the option to renew your subscription for a further year to continue receiving subscription benefits. If you decide to renew, you must renew each of the expired licenses you intend to update, at the renewal rate for edition type you hold.
