Project management

• New controls - a new toolbar lets you control the level of detail you see on charts and makes it easier to scroll through large charts, plus it is now possible to selectively control what information is displayed on the chart from the SmartPanel
• Enhanced performance - large project charts are now more responsive and it's quicker to switch between views
• Easier to manage - project charts can automatically adjust to fit on a single page
• New assignment view - the Assignment view in the project management chart shows task progress and is colour coded to highlight tasks that are late or are complete
• Custom libraries - if the same subset of tasks are regularly performed in different projects, you can create your own custom library of these tasks and easily reuse them in other projects
• Virtual team - Add a person's name into the project chart and it will automatically save and be available for use in other projects.

Hubs

• Brand new organisation tool - hubs let you organise a wealth of information into logical, easily-digestible groupings - add PDFs and Word documents, hotlinks to other SmartDraw visuals and/or websites, even other hubs, and send and share with your entire team.

Meetings

• Real-time capture - new meeting templates allow you to capture and assign tasks in real-time during your meetings
• Task accountability - the Assignment view in the meeting template shows the status of each task and the progress is colour coded with icons to indicate tasks that are late or compete
• Multiple meeting views - easily switch between views such as project chart, outline, to-do list or see all your important milestones on a timeline.

Timelines

• Rebuilt and automated - create timelines with automatic controls and move events and tasks around without ever losing them

Live Maps

Capture live data from the Internet to incorporate roads, regions, counties, zip codes, countries and even satellite images from across the globe into your illustrations—all as separate, editable elements and easily plot data onto maps.

Integrated Photo Capability

Built-in photo-software functionality allows you to import images directly from your digital camera or other source, crop and scale, adjust colour and brightness, and drop them into org charts or any other illustration.

Meeting automation

Meeting templates let you capture and assign tasks in real-time. Start with a Meetings template and simply add attendees and task to set your agenda.
