The professional edition of ActiveReports includes a royalty-free, fully customisable end-user report designer for Windows Forms. You can host this in your own applications to allow your end users to create and modify their own reports. It even comes with a redistributable help file.

• Windows Report Viewer - provides zooming and previewing, tab support, split page and multi-page views, table of contents, customisable toolbars, text searching capabilities and more
• Web Report Viewer (Professional Edition) - a control for displaying ActiveReports reports on Web forms. You can customise the format or reports and the look of the viewer. The viewer can be of type Html, RawHtml, PDF or Flash
• Flash Report Viewer for the Web (Professional Edition) - highly customisable Flash-based report viewer with seven different themes and built-in localisation support for English, Japanese and Russian
• Hyperlinking (Professional Edition) - support for HTTP handlers allows you to use hyperlinks to run your reports, pass in parameters and display them in the browser or in PDFs.

.NET Reporting SDK

Every ActiveReports report is a .NET object and almost every action is available as an event. You can treat each report like it's any other object and add your own methods, properties and events. The SDK is highly flexible and allows for nearly unlimited programming customisation.

Royalty-free

You can distribute ActiveReports assemblies using XCopy deployment or place them in the Windows global assembly cache (GAC). The object model provides the reporting engine as a single, managed, strong-named assembly. Reports can be deployed royalty-free.
