ZipSend and Courier

ZipSend is a new file delivery web service that makes it easy to zip and send files up to 2GB in size without having to email them. It features seamless integration with WinZip Courier, stores your ZipSend login details so you don't need to login each time and you can customise when ZipSend gets applied.

Zip email attachments automatically

Automatically zip up attachments and control them using a range of options:

• Custom file extensions - send blocked Zip files automatically by changing their file extensions
• Compression methods - choose 'Zipx compression' for maximum compression or 'Zip compression' for legacy compression and compatibility with older Zip programmes
• Image resizing - if you enable automatic image resizing, Courier will first resize your pictures to fit standard computer screens then zip and send them—all with one click!

Send email attachments via ZipSend

The web-based file delivery service, ZipSend, makes it easy to send large files up to 2GB in size without having to worry about bounced emails or clogged servers.

Protect email attachments

Use the optional file encryption capabilities to encrypt zipped attachments with 128-bit or 256-bit AES encryption and password protect your attachments from unauthorised use. Either set files to automatically encrypt or manually encrypt.

Preview email attachments

Courier lets you preview the contents of a zipped attachment directly from within the Outlook preview pane. When previewing an email that includes a Zip file attachment, simply click on the Zip file’s icon displayed in the email’s header. On Windows 7 or Vista you can also preview and open zipped file contents directly from within Windows Explorer.

Integrates into Outlook and Office

Courier seamlessly integrates into your system so you can easily access its functionality:

• Microsoft Outlook toolbars - easily access Courier functionality and modify your zipping preferences from the Outlook interface
• Works with Word, Excel and PowerPoint - compress, encrypt and send open documents from directly within Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
