Blancco HMG Software v4.10 permanently wipes all data from a hard disk up to RESTRICTED, CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET and TOP SECRET levels, for the media types stated below that may be storing data at Impact Levels IL0 to IL6 inclusive.
Blancco HMG Software v4.10 is specifically tailored for Desktops, Laptops, Server and Data Centre environments (which can be licensed up to 256 HDDs) with enhanced and significantly improved Network Card, RAID and SAS support compared to previous versions. Independent testing has verified that Blancco HMG Software v4.10 will securely overwrite data from IDE, SCSI and SAS drives.
Clearly, testing of all drive types is not possible, due to the extensive ranges available. However ATA, USB, SATA, PATA, Fibre Channel and FireWire disks can also be erased because the independent testing that was performed on the IDE, SCSI and SAS drives provides a degree of assurance that the erasure functionality should operate similarly on the other media and platform types detailed above. In addition, the software erases all hidden/locked areas on a hard disk such as DCO, HPA and remapped sectors. Enhanced hard disk support guarantees high-speed simultaneous erasure of multiple HDDs.
Blancco HMG Software v4.10 can be delivered to the target computer via different media: network, CD, USB and preinstall. Data erased by Blancco HMG Software v4.10 cannot be recovered with any existing technology.
