Editions

DISK Protect
DISK Protect is a full-disk encryption solution for Laptop and Desktop computers running Windows.

Dual-factor authentication. DISK Protect supports dual factor authentication by Aladdin eToken and password, or by Smart card and PIN.

Single Sign-On into Windows. Disk Protect can simplify start up by setting its own password to the same value as the user's Windows password. This allows the user to log on to the machine and into Windows by entering a single password.

Secure Hibernation. Disk Protect fully supports hibernation.

Remote deployment and management. DISK Protect 3 supports remote deployment and management via BeCrypt Key Manager or standard network management tools.

DISK Protect Baseline
DISK Protect Baseline is a full-disk encryption solution for Laptop and Desktop computers running Windows. DISK Protect Baseline is CAPS-approved to Baseline.

Dual-factor authentication. DISK Protect Baseline supports dual factor authentication by Aladdin R2 eToken and password.

Challenge-Response. Under some circumstances, an authorised user may, with the help of an Administrator, use Challenge-Response to unlock a machine following authentication failure. See S(E)N 05/06 for guidance.

DISK Protect Enhanced
DISK Protect Enhanced (formerly sold as Serco Data Sentry) is a full-disk encryption solution for Laptop and Desktop computers running Windows. DISK Protect Enhanced is CAPS approved to Enhanced grade.

Boot-time authentication. DISK Protect Enhanced authenticates the user by user name, password and personalised touch token. Up to four separate user accounts can be created on each protected PC.

Full-disk encryption. DISK Protect Enhanced fully encrypts all drives and data using evaluated encryption algorithms approved by CESG for UK Government use. Encryption is automatic and transparent to the user; overhead is minimal, with little or no noticeable impact on system performance. The Encryption Key may be updated (if required) whilst the system is in operation. Data may be exchanged via encrypted removable media, including Floppy disk and Zip drives. Users may import Transport Keys for use with removable media.

Recovery facility. A recovery diskette may optionally be generated during installation which allows an administrator to start up the computer without the touch token or password and to perform disk repairs.
